Two-day Concealed Carry Class
This two-day class satisfies all of the requirements for the New Mexico Concealed Carry License. Students bring one box of 50 cartridges for each gun they plan use for qualification. This class is intended for shooters who are comfortable with shooting and handling their pistols safely. New shooters are encouraged to take the Introduction to Shooting/Concealed Carry Course. 4-year renewal students attend Day 2. Two-Year Refresher students simply reshoot the qualification with an hour of one-to-one instructor coaching (by appointment).
This class teaches the knowledge necessary for the responsible concealed carrier in New Mexico. The only shooting performed is the qualification as specified in the Department of Public Safety’s Administrative Code (Title 10) consisting of 25 shots (15 at 3-yards and 10 at 7-yards). Shooters may warm up with 25 rounds. Minimum score is 72%.

- Ammunition
- Handling Malfunctions
- Transporting Firearms and Reciprocity
- Gun Cleaning
- Avoiding Violent Confrontations

- Essential Information for Concealed Carriers
Very informative and fun class. I found the course packet to have very useful information and to be very well designed. I also appreciated the willingness of instructors to patiently answer questions and help us understand better the law and the regulations.
P.B. – Tijeras – 9/9/16
All of the information given to us was given in a way that would make it stick in your memory. I know all of information required for a firearms owner and for a CCL carrier. Both instructors were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. I will definitely recommend this class!

Again, thank you for a great class. Yours is unique in that I think it is the only one that actually includes practice. The 4 day, 4 week structure allowed time to process/learn the information and with your weekly review/test questions, we actually learned it. The other CCW’s I have taken crammed everything into 2 days. It’s okay for getting a certificate, but it left a lot to be desired, especially for a newbie.

Growing up around guns – – shooting with dad and grandpa as a kid – – I’m not gun shy, but I was by no means gun smart. This series of classes has helped me to feel comfortable using a gun whether it be for recreation or for personal protection. I highly encourage anyone who wants to learn how to safely handle a gun to take these courses!

Excellent Instructors – I feel more confident in shooting and being around guns. You get so much more information than I got when I took a class from a different company. The cost is very reasonable for the amount of information and time on the range you get. Fun class!
